Child Safety Standards
.Takes has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). This page describes our standards for preventing it, how anyone can report it, and how we respond. It reflects our commitment to keeping the community safe and to complying with applicable child-safety laws.
What we prohibit
We do not allow, and act against, any content or conduct that involves:
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) of any kind.
- Sexualization of minors, including in text, images, or GIFs.
- Grooming, solicitation, sextortion, or trafficking of minors.
- Sharing links to, or promotion of, any of the above.
How to report
Every take and comment has a Report control — use it to flag anything that endangers a child, and our team reviews reports and removes violating content. You can also report CSAE concerns directly to us at hello@dottakes.com. If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local law enforcement first.
How we respond
- We remove violating content and terminate the accounts responsible.
- We report apparent CSAM to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and cooperate with law enforcement as required by law.
- We preserve relevant information where legally required to support investigations.
Age requirement
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly allow them to create accounts or collect their personal information. If you believe a child is using the Service or that we hold a child’s data, contact us and we will act promptly.
Point of contact
Child-safety questions, reports, or requests from authorities can be sent to our child-safety point of contact at hello@dottakes.com.
